First of all, welcome to OUR blog.  Now I know on her side she’s probably gonna say something all sweet and flowery about how this is a marriage of our two blogs, drawing little hearts and such…blah blah blah…  Sorry, but I ain’t so sheshe-poopoo like she is…

What I will say is that since SHE is saying that this is a marriage of our blogs, I propose the NEW Newlywed Game.

Yeah, you remember that don’t you?  Newlywed couples get together and answer the simplest questions about each other and win prizes and all that.  The funny thing is that it always seemed like the wives knew their husbands pretty good, while the husbands couldn’t remember nothin’ about the chicks they married. Well I’ll show them!  I’ve been married to this girl for over 14 years and have known her for 16.  I know EVERYTHING about her!  Ain’t no way I’m gonna lose this one!  Here we go…

Okay, I may have answered this one wrong on purpose just to get a rise out of her.  It worked.  Took me ten minutes to talk that dirty fryin’ pan out of her hands!

I think I got the vaguest questions ever written.  OR, maybe after 14 years of marriage I’m still learning things about her…and frankly, I like that.  That’s how our marriage, and the marriage of our blogs is coming about.  We learn from each other and we love it…and each other.  As GOODE As It Gets is a little deeper glimpse into who we are, how we relate and how similarly different we can be.  Come on the ride with us.  We will keep you entertained, I’m sure of it.  Just remember to take my side, will ya???
